Shortville. Wisconsin
The new school house begins to show up considerably. The shingling will be finished today, "that is if it don't rain."
School will begin Monday in the old school house, with Clara Weismer as teacher.
Mr. Smith of Silvon, has purchased the N.E.1/4 of sec. 16 of C. L. Coleman.
Al Savage of Richland county, is here visiting his son, Ashel.
Mrs. Ward's father is here visiting her.
Mrs. Jim Short's sister, Mrs. Kelsar of Nebraska, is here visiting her. This is the first time they have met for over thirty years.
Rudolph Frantz is reported some better.
Eddie Short is home from his work in Iowa county.
