Mr./Mrs. Roland (25th Anniv. - 11 Aug. 1957)
Mr. and Mrs.
Roland Voelker were honor guests at a surprise party Sunday
evening, Aug. 11, in celebration of their silver wedding
anniversary.
Square dance
groups from Marshfield, Neillsville, Curtiss, Owen and Abbotsford
spent the evening square dancing at the Curtiss hall. Their son,
John, of Winona, Minn., was here for the
celebration.
Roland
Voelker and Marchia Mathews were married at Abbotsford Aug. 10,
1932, with the Rev. L. C. Smith, of the Presbyterian church,
officiating. They have made their home in this vicinity since their
marriage. Mr. Voelker is proprietor of Voelker’s Welding and
Blacksmith Shop.
The Voelkers have three children, John, Alice, and Richard.
