Leichtnam, Judy (Marriage - 14 Sept. 1957)

Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Leichtnam, Oshkosh, formerly of Abbotsford, announce the marriage of their daughter, Judy, to Mr. Kenneth Bingham, of Beloit, formerly of Owen.

The wedding took place Sept. 14 in a double ring ceremony before a nuptial mass at 11:00 o’clock in St. Mary’s church, Oshkosh. Father De Chaime was the officiating clergyman.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a net and satin entrained gown. The scoop neckline of the bodice was detailed with appliquéd flowers. She wore a finger tip veil and carried a colonial bouquet of pink and white roses.

Two couples attended the bridal pair. Miss Mary Hannes, Milwaukee, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor. The bride’s attendants were dressed alike in blue frocks of net over satin with hoop skirts. They had small, net head pieces and carried colonial bouquets of pink, blue and white carnations.

The mother of the bride chose a navy blue ensemble accented by a corsage of pink and white roses.

Dinner for 65 guests and a reception at 4:00 o’clock were held at the home of the bride’s parents.

Mr. and Mrs. Ed Leichtnam and Mr. and Mrs. Art Leichtnam and Billy of Abbotsford, attended the wedding. Other guests came from Owen, Boyd, Beloit, Algoma, Oakfield, Fond du Lac, Milwaukee, and South Dakota.

Mr. and Mrs. Bingham will make their home in Beloit where the groom is employed.
