Daenicke,
Beverly Jean (Marriage - 12 Oct. 1957)
Miss Beverly
Jean Daenicke and David Michlig exchanged marriage vows in a double
ring ceremony, Saturday morning, Oct. 12, at St. Bernard’s
Catholic church. The Rev. Raymond Schulz read the service at 9:30
before a nuptial high mass.
Parents of
the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Martin Daenicke, Abbotsford, and Mr.
and Mrs. John Michlig, Route 1, Curtiss.
For her
wedding, the bride appeared in a floor length gown of lace and
nylon. The bodice was designed with a bateau neckline and short
sleeves, with which she wore lace gauntlets. Her finger tip veil of
illusion was caught to a crown of iridescent sequins. She carried a
bouquet of white carnations centered with an
orchid.
Attending
the couple were Mr. and Mrs. Hilarion Michlig, brother and
sister-in-law of the bride. The matron of honor was attired in a
floor length frock of frosted blue nylon. In her hair she wore a
floral band and short veil. Her bouquet was made of blue and white
carnations.
A brown
dress with beige accessories was chosen by Mrs. Daenicke for her
daughter’s wedding. Mrs. Michlig, mother of the groom, wore a
blue ensemble with white accessories. Both mothers had corsages of
yellow and white mums.
After the
ceremony, a wedding breakfast for the bridal party and the parents
was served at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Johnson, brother-in-law
and sister of the bride.
A reception
was held at the home of the bride’s parents from 1:30 to 4:30
and supper was served to 52 guests. Guests from away were from
Milwaukee, Colby, Curtiss, and Dorchester.
Mr. and Mrs. Michlig are making their home in Abbotsford on Second Street. Both young people are graduates of the 1957 class of the Abbotsford high school and both are employed at All Metal Stamping.
