Bernard Huss
arrived Sunday and on Jan. 5 will report back to Newport, R.I.,
where he is attending naval supply school. On Monday, he visited
Don Brink at Medford and his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and
Mrs. Robert Brown, and family, Edgar.
Mr. and Mrs.
Marvin Fait and daughter, Judith, attended a family gathering at
Stratford at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles
Kohlbeck, Christmas. Her brother, Don Kohlbeck, of Norfolk, Va.,
was also home for the holidays.
Among
students home for the holidays are: Miss Sandra Danielson, Miss
Kathy Bush and Jerold Johnson, University of Wisconsin, Madison;
the Misses Connie Weller, Dolores Olsen and Corrine Knight,
Valparaiso University, Valparaiso, Indiana; Miss Mary Scheel,
Carroll College, Waukesha; Miss Shirley Farning, La Crosse State
College; the Misses Lois Ehrenreich and Barbara Gierl, Jack
Armstron, Bob Anderson, Allan Brunkhorst, Dennis Kieser, Roger
Kramer, Eau Claire State College; Pat Kelley, Holy Cross Seminary,
La Crosse; Miss Ann Janda, Stout State College, Menomonie; Jim
Pfalzgraf, University of Wisconsin; John Voelker, Winona State
Teachers College.
Norman
Olsen, Jr., Milwaukee, came Wednesday of last week and will be here
over the holidays.
Mr. and Mrs.
Lester Miller and son, Russell, left Christmas morning on a
vacation trip. They will be back by Jan. 6. The bakery is closed
while they are away.

Schaefer, Waukesha, came Sunday to spend Christmas with his
family.
Mrs. William
Grottke, accompanied by Mrs. Edward Scheeler, Rodney and Debra, of
Cazenovia, spent Friday here with relatives. The Scheelers spent
the day with her mother, Mrs. Oscar Seidel.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Dietsche, Owen, had early Christmas with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Dietsche, Friday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Dietsche spent Christmas in Stevens Point with their children who live there.
