Shortville, Wisconsin
School began Monday with a large attendance.
Leona VanFleet is working for Mrs. John Galbrath.
Geo. Frantz, Jr., wife and Elsie have gone up north.
Elma McPherson is home from her work at Mr. Carpenter's.
Nora Bolton is home.
James Short and wife went to Neillsville Monday.
Emily Sack is working for Mrs. Ed. Ward.
W. A. Forkes is having his house plastered.
Sam Shoop is moving on to C. A. Irish's farm.
The Ladies' Aid society will meet at Mrs. Linnie Carter's today.
D. A. Neff and family were Shortville callers Sunday.
Sunday evening Arvid Nelson and Arvid Pearson saw a bear cross the road a little ways south of Ed. Ward's store.
