Mr. Tholverson of Eau Claire, gave a temperance lecture here Saturday and Sunday.
Mr. Nelson and wife lost their two and one half year old baby last week of diphtheria.
Slops thrown out of the windows or door, make a pest hole to breed disease in your family.
Mrs. Edna Lawler invited a few friends Wednesday to help her quilt.
Fred Melchoir called at Neillsville Wednesday.
G. W. Crandell has sold his house and lots to O. D. Sires.
Several from here took in the sights at the Eau Claire street fair Wednesday.
The high school pupils will give a party Thursday evening in honor of Viola Wilbur, who is visiting here.
Coley Johnson, who is at work near Eau Claire, spent Sunday with his family at this place.
Bertha Waters is visiting with friends at Altoona and Chippewa.
Syd Brown and wife of Merrillan, visited with her mother at this place, Sunday.
Mrs. G. W. Crandell leaves Tuesday for St. Paul for millinery goods.
H. Carter and Eda Simons were Merrillan callers Monday.
I. P. Houghton returned to Alma Center Monday, to finish his painting at that place.
Etta Markham left for Fairchild Monday, to work in the Millinery department of the Big Store there.
Lois Terrell of Cleveland, called on Mrs. C. J. Noyes Monday.
S. Delano. Mrs. Hubbell, Miss Pratt, Lee Robinson and Dora Braman called at the Big Store at Fairchild Saturday.
