Schilling Station
We understand that Ed. Vine was seen in our locality last Saturday with a gun on his back. He was tracking up a wily partridge, which must have turned into a gray squirrel, as that was which he had on his return home.
Thomas and Ed. Vine and G. Phillips took a trip to the Lloyd farm last Monday on a bee hunt. They were fortunate in finding one tree that had a pailful of honey in it. They returned home the next day just a little sweeter than when they started, besides having the pleasure of a nice visit with Jas. Howe and family.
Henry Grass expects to move onto Albert Stabnaw's farm this week, he having rented it for an unlimited time.
Albert Stabnaw has a very nice little frame house build on his farm with a cupola. We think he intends to keep turkeys so they can roost high at Thanksgiving time.
G. Phillips and wife were visitors at the LaTart Sunday school last Sunday, Mr. Phillips acting as superintendent.
Albert Stabnaw and Henry Grass bought a cow of L. Reimer last week.
