NEILLSVILLE, WIS. -- Douglas Buddinger, 84, of
Neillsville died Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2009, at the Memorial Health
and Rehabilitation Center in Neillsville.
Douglas G. Buddinger was born April 29, 1925, in
Neillsville, the son of George and Estella (Selves) Buddinger. He
worked at NorthStar Dairy as a milk hauler for eight years and was
drafted into the U.S. Army on Oct. 25, 1950. He served in the
Korean War as a sergeant first class and was honorably discharged
in January 1953. Upon returning home, Doug farmed his whole life in
Weston township.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday
at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville. Interment will be in the
Neillsville City Cemetery with military honors accorded by the
Neillsville Veterans Council.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday at the Gesche Funeral Home.
