Christensen, Audrey (1918? - 2 Oct. 2009) 
 

ABBOTSFORD -Audrey Christensen, 9, of Abbotsford died Friday, Oct. 2, 2009, at the Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital in Oconomowoc. 
 

Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, at Christ Lutheran Church in Abbotsford. Burial will follow in Abbotsford Public Cemetery. Visitation from 9:30 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at the church in Abbotsford. 
 

The Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home of Abbotsford is assisting Audrey's family with her arrangements.

ABBOTSFORD -Audrey M. Christensen, 91, a lifelong resident of Abbotsford, passed away Oct. 2, 2009. 
 

She was the beloved wife of the late Harold K. Christensen and the beloved daughter of the late Maida and Albert Goldamer. 
 

As the center of Abbotsford's Christensen family, Audrey led the family with a quiet demeanor and an inner strength. Always putting her family first, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Audrey loved to cook and many enjoyed her homemade soups. She was an expert gardener, and she loved to travel. 
 

Audrey is survived by daughter Mary (Walt) Turner of Hartland, son Ken (Elaine) Christensen of Abbotsford, daughter Carol (Myles) Tobin of Chicago, Ill.; five grandchildren, Andi (Randy) Oppmann, Brian Christensen, Scott Christensen, Kelly (Jeremiah) Buchholtz, Michelle Christensen; and four great-grandchildren, Andrew Oppmann, Adam Oppmann, Cassidy Christensen and Jack Buchholtz; one brother, Bob (Arlee) Goldamer, and one sister Elaine Speck. 
 

Sister Ardis Cornelius and granddaughter Leigh Turner preceded Audrey in death. 
 

Visitation will be held at 9:30 a.m., with services following at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2009. Both will be held at the Christ Lutheran Church, 308 West Linden St., in Abbotsford. Internment will take place in the Abbotsford Public Cemetery immediately following the church service. 
 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Audrey M. Christensen Memorial Fund for the betterment of Abbotsford, c/o Abby Bank, 401 East Spruce Street, Abbotsford, Wisc. 54405.
