LOYAL, WISCONSIN

 

Beth H. Marvin, 95, of Loyal died Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009, at the House of the Dove in Marshfield. 
 

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Oct. 24 at the Loyal United Methodist Church in Loyal. Burial will follow in the Loyal Cemetery. 
 

Visitation will be held at the church Oct. 24 from 9:30 a.m. until time of service. 
 

Cuddie Funeral Home, of Loyal, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Beth H. Marvin, 95, of Loyal died Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009, at the House of the Dove in Marshfield. 
 

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009, at the Loyal United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the Loyal Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until time of service. 
 

Beth Hannah Lydia Pratt was born July 29, 1914, in Emerald, St. Croix County, the daughter of Levi Albert and Minnie Amelia (Procknow) Pratt. She was united in marriage to Harold Leland Cook on Dec. 24, 1930, in Stillwater, Minn. They resided in Menomonie until moving to Loyal in 1943. They farmed in Loyal until retiring in 1966. Harold died Sept. 18, 1966. 
 

After her husband's death, Beth lived in Loyal and worked at Midland Co-op for 12 years. She was united in marriage to Harry James Marvin on June 6, 1970, in Loyal. Harry died Feb. 16, 1998. Beth continued to live in Loyal until entering the House of the Dove on April 15, 2009. 
 

She is survived by four sons, Roy (Darlene) Cook of Marshfield, Larry (Alice) Cook of Loyal, Lee (Carol) Cook of Lyndon Station, and Dennis (Ruth) Cook of Loyal; daughter-in- law, Janet Cook of Marshfield; 20 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. 
 

Cuddie Funeral Home of Loyal is assisting the family with arrangements.
