THORP, WIS. -- Shirley E. Maslowski, 74, of Thorp died
Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2009, at Wissota Health & Regional Vent
Center in Chippewa Falls.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Nov.
7 at St. Bernard-St. Hedwig's Catholic Church in Thorp. Burial will
follow in New St. Hedwig's Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the church from 9:30
a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Nov. 7.
Thorp Funeral Home is assisting the family with
arrangements.

Shirley E. Maslowski, 74, of Thorp died Tuesday,
Oct. 27, 2009, at Wissota Health in Chippewa
Falls.
Shirley Elaine Moen was born April 5, 1935, in
Withee to Chester and Leona (Nindorf) Moen. She married Edward
Maslowski in 1954 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Chicago. They
farmed in the area until 1975 and, later, Shirley worked as a baker
for the remainder of her working days.
Shirley is survived by her husband, Ed, and her
sister, Janice Blume, and her children Jean Maslowski, Nancy
Maslowski, Ramona (Arlen) Offord, Sally (Keith) Seaman, Susan
Leonard, Charlie Maslowski and Michael (Heidi) Maslowski. She is
also survived by six grandchildren and five
great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at St. Bernard-St. Hedwig's Catholic Church in Thorp, with the Rev. Keith Apfelbeck officiating. Burial will follow in New St. Hedwig's Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the church Saturday.
