Rembleski, Irene G (24 November 1926 - 20 October
2009)
Irene G. Rembleski, age 82, longtime resident of
the Gilman area, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at the
Miller Alternative Care Center in Thorp, WI under the care of Hope
Hospice.
A
Christian Burial Mass was held on Friday, October 23, 2009 at 10:30
a.m. at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Gilman, WI with Fr.
John Long officiating. Burial followed in the parish
cemetery. Friends and family called on Thursday evening from
4-8 p.m. at the Gilman Funeral Home with a 7:30 rosary being
recited.
Irene was born November 24, 1926 in Chicago, IL,
the daughter of Stanley & Rose (Dranginis) Budzinski. She moved
with her family to Michigan, then Thorp, and finally settled in the
Hannibal area. On July 28, 1951, she was united in marriage
to Louis Rembleski and they resided and farmed in the Gilman area
since. Irene was a member of Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic
Church and the Rosary Society. Besides her love of her
family, especially her grandchildren, she enjoyed cooking, sewing
gardening and just being with family members.
She
is survived by her daughter, Linda (Dale) Mravik of Lublin, WI; two
sons: Jerome Rembleski of Thorp, WI and James (Robin) Rembleski of
Robinson, ND; grandchildren: Carrie person, Joshua Rembleski, and
Michael & Jessica Wisniewski; great-grandchildren: Mariah,
Zachary, Ethan, Braeden and Aspen; plus six step-grandchildren, 12
step-great-grandchildren, and two brothers: Robert (Rose Ann)
Budzinski of Gilman, WI and Henry Budzinski of Mondovi, WI.
She was preceded in death by her husband Louis in 2000; two children: Kenneth and Rita; and her sister Margaret.
