Hagedorn Twins (1951)
The Louis Hagedorns, of rural Neillsville and their three sets of twins, are getting world-wide fame, it was found here last week.
The Hagedorns have had three sets of twins since their marriage in 1945. The first set was two girls, the second twin boys and last December Mrs. Hagedorn presented her husband with one of each, just to keep things evened up. (Note: Later on they had another set of twins; I think also one boy and one girl. Dmk)
News of the far-reaching fame of the fast-growing family was received here by Mrs. Max Schicketanz, who arrived here from Germany about five months ago.
Mrs. Schicketanz received a paper dated January 16 from her mother in Furth, Germany, in which a picture of the Hagedorn family was found in the roto-gravure section. The picture arrived in Germany via the Associated Press.
Mrs. Schicketanz is the daughter-in-law of Emma Painz, Neillsville.
