Marsh, W. J. (Birthday - 14 May 1951)
William J. Marsh of Neillsville was 90 years of age on Monday, May 14. He was honored by a family party, which was shared by Bruce Van Gorden of Black River Falls. Both birthdays fell on May 14, but Mr. Van Gorden is compared with Mr. Marsh; a mere child of 47.
The
party was held on Sunday at the Herman North cottage, Lake
Arbutus. It was attended by about 30 relatives, chiefly Van
Gordens, who are a considerable clan hereabouts. The
celebration had its origin in Florida when Mr. Marsh and the Norths
with the Norths’ daughter, Pat Van Gorden, were at the Archie
Van Gorden place.
