County News

 

Curtiss, Wisconsin 

 

Mrs. Moriarity and children of Two Harbors, Minn., are visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs Wm. Feidler.

 

Mr. Daniels returned to Beaver Dam Saturday.

 

There were several parties here during the week looking at the country.

 

M. F. Leary arrived from Monticello, Wis., Friday with his family and will settle about six miles north of town.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Austin of Chicago, arrived Saturday and will assist the Rev Jno. Willan in evangelistic work

 

Allie Gwinn went to Minneapolis Saturday.

 

Paul Lusk and wife left for Manchester, Iowa, Tuesday.

 

H. Machett is building on an addition to his hardware store and will put up a new ice house at the hotel.

 

Tom Kerns of Neillsville, is spending a few days in Curtiss.

 

Geo. Johnson came up for Stockton Saturday and spent Sunday with his parents, returning Monday.

 

Nick Machlett made a business trip to Colby Monday.

 

Anne Ratke came down from Stanley Saturday and spent Sunday with his parents, returning Monday.

 

Mrs. Jno. Patiz went to Merrill Thursday to attend the funeral of Chas. Zimmermann, who was drowned.

 

Christie Thompson returned from Strum Wednesday, where she has been visiting relatives for the last two months.

 

Marcus Emerson of Tomahawk, was here on business Wednesday, returning Thursday.

 

Wm Mantley and wife visited relatives in Stevens Point Sunday.

 

Mike and Pete Olsen went to Medford Monday.

 

Mrs. Wm Mars is sick at this writing.
