Humbird, Wisconsin 

 

Anna Hart and Mabel Snyder wheeled to Fairchild Saturday and took in the sights at that place.

 

Col. F. E. Parsons of Lake Mills, gave a republican lecture here Monday.

 

Mrs. Dignin who is learning the dress making trade at Merrillan, Sundayed at home.

 

Agnes Beckett, who is attending high school at this place, Sundayed at her home near Fairchild.

 

Mr. Schnell started out with his corn shredder Monday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Len. Cole went to Neillsville Monday.

 

G. Ferrell, while taking his daughter Lois to school near the Catholic church Sunday, was thrown from his buggy and seriously hurt. The colt being scared by a bicycle coming up behind.

 

James Waters and Wm Campbell called at Fairchild Monday.

 

Mrs. Art Miller is enjoying a visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Horrell of Fall Creek.

 

Mr. and Mrs. I. P. Houghton returned from Alma Center Saturday.

 

Mrs. Staves and grand daughter Alice visited Saturday and Sunday at Eleva.

 

Miss LaGraves Sundayed at her home near Augusta.

 

Mrs. Daisy Maxon went Saturday to Warrens to visit with her sister, Mrs. Rose McCarthy.

 

Dr. Reeves and wife left for Osseo Monday; from there to Superior where they will make it their home.

 

O. Hein commenced grinding buckwheat this week. Everybody can now have pan cakes.
