Dux, Irene (Marriage - 24 January
1953)
Miss Irene Dux, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert
Dux, became the bride of Arthur Meier, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur
Meier, at a ceremony performed at the home of the bride’s
parents on January 24, at 3 o’clock. The Rev. Alfred
Schewe performed the double ring ceremony.
The
bride was attired in a gold colored suit and wore a corsage of
yellow roses with white stephanotis.
Mrs. Clarence Meier, as matron of honor was
attired in a navy blue suit and wore a corsage of red roses with
white stephanotis. The groom was attended by Clarence
Meier.
The
wedding march was played by Lois Rademan of
Hartford.
Following the ceremony a reception was held at
the home of the bride’s parents for 35
guests.
Present for the wedding were the bride’s brother A/2C Melvin Dux of Omaha, Nebr., and Lois Rademan, a friend of Hartford, Wis.
