Bogue, Mr. and Mrs. Jay (Golden - 1 February
1953)
Mr.
and Mrs. Jay Bogue were honored on their fiftieth wedding
anniversary February 1 at the Odd Fellows Hall.
The
tables were beautifully decorated with a large three-tiered wedding
cake and with pretty arrangements of Gold mums and yellow
jonquils. Mrs. Glen Buchanan poured the
coffee.
Among the guests were their four children and
their families: Mrs. George (Leota) Gerber, Mr. and Mrs. Harold
Bogue and children of Watseka, Ill., Mr. and Mrs. Robert (Cecil)
Hodd and children of Abbotsford, and Mr. and Mrs. Harold (Edna)
Koplitz and children of Owen.
Over 85 guests were present and there were out of town guests from Watseka, Ill., Hayward, Eau Claire, Thorp, Abbotsford and Owen.
