Martin, Anna Othelia (5 June 1868 - 15 February
1953)
Mrs. Anna Othelia Martin of the Town of Lynn died
at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. William
Dankemyer of Granton, Route 2, on Sunday morning.
The
body lay in state at the Gilbertson Funeral Home until Tuesday when
it was taken to the Dankemyer home, where it reposed until time of
service on Wednesday. Services were conducted at the Zion
Lutheran Church with the Rev. Arthur Oswald officiating.
Burial was made in the parish cemetery.
Mrs. Martin, nee Anna Sternitzky, was born June
5, 1868, in the Town of Lynn. She received her education in the
Town of Lynn. On June 10, 1891 she was married to John Martin
at the Zion Lutheran church. She spent the grater part of her life
time in the Town of Lynn and resided at her last place of residence
for 52 years. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church and
secretary to the Ladies Aid for 17 years.
She
is survived by two daughters, Mrs. William (Ruby) Dankemyer of the
Town of Lynn and Mrs. Arnold (Gertrude) Ross of Rib Lake, three
grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Her husband preceded her in death on March 11, 1937. Two brothers and one sister also preceded her in death.
