Jaseph, Hazel S. (Dec 22, 1911)
On Thursday evening, December 22, at the home of his sister, Mrs. Frank Vought, in South Rural, E.E. Erickson of Elroy, Wis., was united in marriage to Miss Hazel S. Jaseph of Neillsville, Wis., Rev. A.K. Mathews acting as officiating clergyman. The wedding was a very quiet affair, only the immediate relatives and a few close friends of the contracting parties witnessing the ceremony, following which a fine wedding supper was served. After supper a few of the guests quietly slipped outside and treated the newly married couple to a homemade charivari, which, ably headed by Mrs. Vought, could hardly be distinguished in quality of tone from the genuine article known so well by the people of this section.
The bride is one of Neillsville’s most popular and accomplished young ladies and has been spending the past few weeks visiting at the Vought home. The groom is one of Elroy’s foremost young businessmen, proprietor of a well known printing and publishing establishment in his hometown, and has the respect and esteem of all who know him.
Mr. and Mrs. Erickson will remain here for several weeks, after which they will return to Elroy, Wis., where they will make their future home. The Times extends heartiest congratulations and good wishes. - Garrison, N.D. Times
