Struensee, Harry William (15 September 1933 - 2

Harry W. Struensee, 76, of Neillsville passed
away peacefully with his family and beloved dog by his side,
Monday, Nov. 2, 2009. Harry’s wishes were that no
funeral services be held.
Harry William Struensee was born Sept. 15, 1933,
in Neillsville, the son of Edward and Irene (Metcalf)
Struensee. He was raised and received his education in the
Neillsville area. Harry enlisted in the U. S. Air Force in
1953 during the Korean War and served his time in Panama.
When he returned home, he went to work at the Chevrolet plant in
Janesville while attending vocational school to achieve his
aircraft mechanics license. In 1961, he married Isabelle
Langreck, and she preceded him in death in 1997. Harry went
to work for Ozark Airlines in St. Louis, MO in 1962 and transferred
to various airlines during his career, ending up in Minneapolis, MN
working for TWA until retiring in 1988. He was united in
marriage February 27, 1998, to Rhonda Roehl in Miami,
FL.
Harry was an avid walleye fisherman, enjoying his
many trips to Canada and South Dakota and truly enjoyed the
outdoors, especially his gardening.
He
will be sadly missed by his wife, Rhonda, of Neillsville; two
step-children, Aaron and Katie Gorst, both at home; one
granddaughter, McKayla; one brother, Calvin (Annie) Struensee of
Miami Springs, FL; and one nephew, Michael Struensee, of Dallas
TX.
He
was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Isabelle; and
a brother, Dennis in 1975.
