Lloyd, Irene (6 November 1888 –11 April
1953)
Irene Lloyd, 64, died Saturday, April 11, at the
Clark County Hospital at Owen. The cause of death was a heart
ailment.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 14,
from the Bergemann Funeral Home with Rev. Virgil Nulton
officiating. Burial took place in the Neillsville City
Cemetery.
Miss Lloyd was born November 6, 1888, to George
L. and Ida (Marshall) Lloyd at Neillsville. She received her
education in the Neillsville schools, graduating from the
Neillsville High School. She was also a graduate of the Stout
Institute at Menomonie. After graduating she spent some time
in Chicago, later returning to Neillsville to make her home.
She became a patient at the Clark County Hospital in 1938.
She never married.
Surviving relatives are a brother, Clyde Lloyd of Bellingham, Wash.; and two sisters, Mrs. Lewis (Mae) Ashbaugh and Mrs. Thomas (Lois) Barnhardt, both of California. Also surviving is a cousin, Miss Helen Deming of Milwaukee, and a niece, Mrs. Walter Harpke, also of Milwaukee.
