Geo. Williams died Friday at his home two miles east of Granton and was buried at Windfall Cemetery Sunday. Mr. Williams was born in Ontario County, N.Y., Dec. 13, 1826. When a lad of ten he came with his parents to Waukesha County and there grew to young manhood. He was united in marriage on Jan. 27, 1852, to Mary Morris and in 1856 they came to Clark County to reside, settling on a farm near Granton. Mr. Williams has engaged in farming and logging all his life and was well known all over this end of the county. He is survived by his wife and six children. The children are Mrs. Wm. Frabk of Vancouver, B.C., Mrs. Alexander Cattenach of Lynn; Mrs. Amelia Converse and Mrs. Oscar Doughty of Lynn; Willis of Lynn and Henry of Acton, Mont.
