Verbeck, Forest A.M. (April 6, 1886-April 9,
1911)
Forest Verbeck, son of Cecil Verbeck, died last
Sunday afternoon at the Marshfield Hospital as the result of an
operation for appendicitis. The remains were brought home
Monday. Forest A.M. Verbeck was born in the town of York on
April 6, 1886. His mother died when he was two years of
age. About six years ago he came with his father to
Neillsville to reside and three years ago last October he was
united in marriage to Miss Ella Warlum. To this union two
children were born who survive to mourn with their mother their
father’s absence. Mr. Verbeck received a common school
education and a young man of utmost sobriety. He was
industrious and energetic and was withal a most excellent young
man.
The funeral was held yesterday afternoon at the Congregational Church at 2 o’clock.
