Ernest Gerznickle died Monday afternoon at 4 o’clock at his home on Pleasant Ridge of rupture of the stomach.  Deceased was 46 years, 6 months and 11 days old at the time of his death, having been born in Germany, Oct. 11, 1862.  He was married to Miss Amelia Marg of the town of Fremont in 1890.  Three children were born to this union, Laura, Louis and Amelia, all of whom survive him.  Beside the wife and children he leaves his father, Christian Gerznickle, who made his home with him.  One step-sister, Mrs. Adolph Schlinzog of Granton, and three step-brothers, Wm. Tischer of Pine Valley, Aug. Tischer of Guthrie, Okla., and Charlie Tischer of Owatonna, Minn.  Mr. Gerznickle had been in poor health for about two years.  He was a kind father and loving husband.  The funeral will be held in the Grant Lutheran Church today (Thursday).  Interment in the town cemetery.
