Klopf, Mary (April 17, 1860-April 19,
1911)
Mrs. William G. Klopf died at her home on the
north side last Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. Klopf was born Mary
Servaty at Belvidere, Ill., on April 17, 1860. On Oct. 27,
1382 [1882?] she was united in marriage William G. Klopf at
Belvidere and they came directly to Neillsville to take up their
residence and which has ever since been their home. Mrs.
Klopf was the mother of two children, Clarence and Miss Edna, both
of whom, with their father, survive her. She is also survived
by her mother, Mrs. Catherine Servaty; her twin brother, Charles
Servaty of Fresno, Cal.; brother, John J. Servaty of Owen; and
sisters, Mrs. Madeline Mick, Katherine and Julie
Servaty.
Mrs. Klopf was a lady of many exceptional qualities. She was of a quiet disposition and home-loving to an unusual degree. That she presided over a happy and contented home was due to a great extent to her most excellent ministrations. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Stars and this lodge had charge of the funeral services. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at the family residence, Rev. Burrows officiating.
Those from out-of-town who attended the funeral
were, Mr. and Mrs. John Servaty of Owen, Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Steihl
of Merrillan, Emil Mick of Black River Falls and Albert Reinekin of
Wausau.
