Drummond, Emil Perry (? - 1953) 
 

Local relatives have returned from Cook, Minn., where they attended the funeral of Emil Perry Drummond, who was the son of Greenwood.  He came to Greenwood with his parents in 1899, and was graduated from Greenwood High School in 1911.  He went to business college in La Crosse and worked in Milwaukee and Minneapolis. 
 

Eleven years ago Mr. Drummond became publisher of the Cook News-Herald.  He was an active booster for his city and area, was active in the organizations of newspapermen, in the Masonic order and in the Congregational church.  He leaves his wife Lillian, one son, three daughters and seven grandchildren as well s a sister, Mrs. John Wuethrich of Greenwood.  
 

Interment was  in Crystal Lake Cemetery, Minneapolis.  Attending from Greenwood were: Mrs. John Wuethrich, John D. Wuethrich and the Misses Allie and Florence Williams.
