Orlando Starks is putting a stone foundation under his house.
Mr. Simpson of Neillsville, was talking road-machine to the residents of district No. 3 last week.
E. Olson of Nebraska, has purchased Lewis Larson's place in the town of Worden and is building a dwelling thereon.
S. S. Warner has sold 40 acres of land to John Moore. The land joins Mr. Moore's farm on the north and makes a suitable addition thereto.
Mrs. Anna Bailey and granddaughter, Florence Jerard, who have been spending the summer with relatives and friends, returned to their home at Redwood, N. Y., last week.
George Veeder is about to build a house on his farm north of here.
A. Geer has sold his farm in the town of Worden to Martin Nelson, and with his family has gone to the state of Washington.
W. A. Smith has moved from Mrs. McCafferty's place to the Geer place where he will live this winter.
Hans Skaugsted has traded his farm to Ole Lee for city property in Stanley.
George Clark, Hank Baxter and Dick Craig returned from Westboro Saturday, and will remain at home during the hunting season.
Uncle Jack Sanders is up from Eau Claire on a visit.
