Humbird, Wisconsin 

 

Nix Family Jollities and Merry Entertainers entertained the people here Tuesday and Wednesday evening.

 

Caleb Hobbs of Iron River is visiting with friends here.

 

E. P. Houghton of Neillsville, called here Saturday and Sunday.

 

Typhoid fever is still raging. Mrs. L. Schneller has six children very sick.

 

Henry Johnson and wife called at Fairchild Monday.

 

Mabel Snyder and Kit Fradenburg of the North Schools, Sundayed at home.

 

Geo. Jacques of Neillsville addressed the people Monday night on the issues of the day.

 

Edna Lawler and Mrs. Hubbell gave the Big Store at Fairchild a call Wednesday.

 

Jay Miller has sold his village property to Ed. Backley of Alma Center.

 

L. Backus of Denver, Colorado, returned home Monday, after several weeks' visit with friends and relatives here.

 

Rev. Turgeson returned from Chetek Monday.

 

Art Howe came home Monday from Illinois.

 

Mrs. Fred Shatswell and children returned Saturday from Quilcense, Washington.

 

Roy Barr returned from Minnesota Friday.

 

Mrs. Clark and daughter Gertie were Black River Falls callers Friday.

 

Mrs. Charles Hart from Canada is visiting her sons at this place.

 

Mrs. H. Albright who has been spending the summer with her daughter Ida, returned to Antigo Wednesday.

 

T. Hurst of Augusta called on his sister here last week.

 

Miss Young of Augusta, visited here Saturday.

 

Mrs. Dixon and children of Merrillan visited with Mrs. Etta Miller the first of the week.

 

Manie Brandsteder of Fairchild, visited with her Grandma Hein Saturday.

 

H. Lincoln, R. Thomas and Roy Barr went hunting on Yellow river Monday.
