Mrs. Eliza Cameron of Iowa, is visiting friends and relatives on the ridge.
Mrs. Lizzie Keuchenmaister returned from La Crosse last Friday and reports a pleasant visit.
Russel Benedict was down from Abbotsford over Sunday.
The first District Sunday School Convention of Clark county is a thing of the past. On account of the heavy rain that came down nearly all day, the attendance was not as large as was hoped for, but those attending report that showers of blessing were falling inside notwithstanding the inclemency of the weather. Among the Sunday School workers from outside schools were Wm. McAdams, Mamie Hutchings and Ella Shoop, of Levis; Mr. Deane, P. E. Chase, Mrs. Humiston, Mrs. H. Gibson, Floy Lawrence, Edna Deane, Grace Mortimer and Lottie Hales, of York Center; Mrs. Borgen and Revs. Longenecker and Willan, of Neillsville, and Ed. Einfeldt, of Greenwood. It was decided to hold the next District convention at York Center, Jan. 31.
Mr. Folton and wife of Tioga, visited Ridge friends Saturday and Sunday.
