Fenner, Grace (Marriage - 23 May
1953)
Miss Grace Fenner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Herbert Fenner of Loyal, and Richard Reineking, son of Mrs. A. G.
Reineking of Spencer, were united in marriage Saturday, May 23, at
3 p.m. in the Loyal Methodist Church with the Rev. Robert Trobough
of Marshfield performing the ceremony.
The
bride wore a ballerina length gown, with a bodice of Chantilly lace
closed down the front with tiny taffeta covered buttons. The dress
was styled with a Peter-Pan collar and long sleeves to the
wrists. A full net skirt over taffeta made up the
skirt. A fingertip veil edged in lace which was caught to a
white taffeta headdress edged in lace and pearls completed her
dress. She carried a bouquet of red roses and
stephanotis.
Mrs. John Olson, Loyal, who served her sister as
matron of honor, wore a gown styled as the bride’s in maize
and Miss Pauline Reineking of Marshfield as bridesmaid wore a gown
of Nile green.
John Reineking, Milwaukee, served as best man and
William Reineking, Milwaukee, acted as groomsman. Eugene Fenner and
Mrs. Leroy Krueger of Wausau ushered.
Miss Jane Andrews of Spencer sang, accompanied by
Mrs. Byron Zepplin at the organ.
The
church was decorated with apple blossoms.
The bride is a graduate of the Loyal High School and has been employed in the Citizen’s State Bank in Loyal. The groom is a farmer and after their return from their wedding trip to the west they will be at home on a farm near Spencer.
