Olinski, Isabel (31 JUL 1954)

 

Miss Isabel Olinski, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Olinski of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Joseph Grenn, son of Isadore Grendzinski of Wilkes-Barre, Pa., in a ceremony performed by Rev. Francis Piekarski at a ten o’clock nuptial mass at St. Hedwig’s Church here on July 31st, 1954.  The altar was beautifully decorated with gladioli and carnations.

 

The bride’s gown was of white lace with inserted nylon tulle pleats in the front, with which she wore a French hoop skirt.  Her fingertip veil fell from a crown of rhinestones and beads.  Her wedding bouquet was a spray of white roses centered with an orchid.

 

Loretta Micke, maid of honor, was attired in a gown of yellow lace and nylon net. Leona Kiraly of Milwaukee, and Louise Rembecki of Detroit, both sisters of the bride, were her attendants and were dressed in blue lace and green lace and nylon net gowns.  All the ladies carried bouquets of roses, gladiolas and baby mums tied with streamers matching their gowns.

 

Cynthia Rembecki, niece of the bride, served as flower girl, and wore a dress of pink lace and nylon net, carrying roses, glads and baby mums/

 

The bride’s mother wore a blue crepe dress trimmed with lace and a corsage of yellow rose buds.

 

Dr. Frank Green, brother of the groom, served as best man, and Henry Rembecki of Detroit, brother of the bride, was usher.  Both groom and attendants were attired in navy blue suits.

 

The wedding breakfast was served at the parish hall and a reception followed, attended by 250 guests.  Music was furnished for dancing by Leon Laniewski’s Orchestra.

 

Out of town guests at the festivities were: Miss Loretta Micke and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Kiraly of Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Gene Segar, New Jersey, Mr. and Mrs. Tony Kozurski, Mrs. Ann Thomas, Isadore Grendzinski, and John Dick of Wilkes-Barre, Pa., Dr. and Mrs. Frank Grenn, Cape Cod, Mass., Mr. and Mrs. Mike Stevens, Minneapolis, Mr. and Mrs. John Kobylinski, Detroit, Mrs. bill Bayer and family, Argyle, Mich., Mr. and Mrs. Henry Rembecki and daughters, Detroit, Mr. and Mrs. Hank Gutchow, Chicago and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Kiraly and sons of Milwaukee.
