Lund, Shirley (28 AUG 1954)
Shirley Lund, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Lund, R. 3, Stanley, became the bride of Lester Setzer of Stanley in a ceremony performed at the Methodist Church at Waterloo, Iowa, on Aug. 28th, 1954. The couple was attended by Gorden Lund, brother of the bride, and Mrs. Clarence White.
The bride was attired in a light blue suit with white accessories and her attendant also wore blue. The groom wore a dark blue suit.
The reception was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence White, the latter a sister of the bride.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Brighton and Waterloo, Iowa, and visited the bride’s maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Newton, and great-grandmother, Mrs. Rotzinger.
They will reside on the Gilman Anderson farm near Stanley.
