Shea, Kay Ann (Marriage - 20 June 1953)
Miss Kay Ann Shea, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Don
Shea, Eau Claire, became the bride of LeRoy Gene Plunkett, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Plunkett of Greenwood, at a service Saturday
morning June 20, in St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Eau
Claire. The officiating clergyman was the Rev. John Rossiter.
Mark and Jack Shea were mass servers.
The
attendants were Mavis Jacobs, Eau Claire, maid of honor, and Joanne
Shea, Eau Claire, sister of the bride, Harry Plunkett, Greenwood,
brother of the groom, as best man, and Edward Moffett, Tuckahoe, N.
Y. as groomsman. Ushers were Donald Shea and Joseph Plunkett
of Eau Claire.
The
bride is employed in Minneapolis as a teletype operator and the
groom, who is in military service, plans to leave on July 20 for
Okinawa. Staff Sgt. Plunkett is now stationed at Truax Field,
Madison.
The couple left on a wedding trip to southern Wisconsin and Illinois.
