Hohl, Nancy (Marriage - 16 August
1953)
Nancy Hohl, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. F. Hohl
of Greenwood, became the bride of Donald A. Ellingson, son of Mrs.
E. S. Ellingson of Greenwood, in a ceremony performed Sunday
evening, August 16, at Grace Methodist Church, Greenwood, by the
Rev. Arthur Riley.
The
bride wore white nylon with pointed sleeves, ruffled skirt over
satin, floor length; carried a white lace prayer book, covered with
red roses. Her fingertip veil hung from a satin Juliet
cap. The bridesmaid was Carol Drew. The church was
lighted by candles. Soloist was Mrs. Everett Humke of La
Crosse.
Open house was held in the church parlors after
the ceremony.
Both of the young people are graduates of Greenwood High School. The groom is a private in the military police service. He is stationed at Los Angeles, and the young people will take up their residence there.
