Yorkston, Leslie (1953)
Leslie Yorkston is now at his home in
Neillsville, having reached the end of the nut season in
Oregon. Mr. Yorkston owns a nut orchard of 2
½ acres not far from Portland. He has 210
trees.
Mr. Yorkston had worked about 30 years in banks of Clark County, and had wearied of the indoor life and routine. In Oregon he has been much in the open, being sufficiently occupied with his nut orchard, but not overworked.
