Bell, Marian (Marriage - 26 September
1953)
Miss Marian Bell of Chicago; daughter of John A.
Bell, was married September 26 in Chicago to Asure Osborne of
Chicago.
They visited relatives here while on their
honeymoon and a family reception was held in their honor at the
August Kaufman home Saturday evening, October 3. They are
making their home at 129 North Ogden Ave. Chicago.
Marian has served two terms as a missionary nurse in China under
the American Baptist Missionary Society. She was held in captivity
by the Chinese Communists for more than two years. She returned
from China last fall after securing her release and spent a few
months visiting relatives here.
