Fravert, Alma (26 March 1899 - 1953) 
 

Funeral services for Mrs. Otto Fravert, 54, a life long resident of Greenwood, were held Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 27, at the West Side Evangelical and Reformed Church. The Rev. Charles Koch officiated.  Burial was made in the West Side Cemetery. 
 

Pallbearers were: William Goeke, Henry Vollrath, Philip Vollrath, Richard Moldenhauer, Norbert Kuester and Arthur Humke. 
 

Mrs. Fravert, nee Alma Franz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Franz, was born March 26, 1899, in the Town of Warner.  She was married Jan. 12, 1921, to Otto Fravert at the West Side Church.  Since their marriage they have lived on the present farm four miles northwest of Greenwood.  She was a member of the West Side Church and its Ladies Aid Society and for many years was organist. 
 

She is survived by her husband, three sons; Leroy and Orlin of Greenwood and Allen at home, three grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Alvin Albert of Greenwood; five brothers, Fred, Otto and Harold Franz of Sydney, Mont.; Adolph Franz of Medford, Ore.; and Calvin Franz of Greenwood.
