Kuester, Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand (Golden -
1953)
Mr.
and Mrs. Ferdinand Kuester, Grand Ave. Rd, Rte 3, Neillsville,
celebrated their Golden wedding anniversary Saturday, Nov. 21, by
entertaining members of their immediate family at a 6:30 dinner at
the Zion Evangelical and Reformed Church dining parlors.
Following the dinner open house was held from 8 to 10
p.m.
The
Rev. William Koehler gave a short talk in commemoration of the
event and read a few letters and poems which had been sent to Mr.
and Mrs. Kuester from relatives who could not be
present.
Jacob Stucki, Madison, a grandson, gave a history
of the grandchildren.
The
table was decorated with a three tiered wedding cake, a gift of the
children, and yellow and white chrysanthemums. A yellow mum
plant, trimmed with coins wrapped in gold paper, completed the
decorations.
The
following children and their families attended: Mr. and Mrs. Arthur
Gutzmer and daughter, Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Ben Stucki and David,
Neillsville; Jacob Stucki and daughter, Marion, Madison; Marie Ann
Stucki, Evanston, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Bremer and daughters,
Neillsville; Mr. and Mrs. john Bryan, Neillsville; Mr. and Mrs.
Roman Kuester and children, Carol, Beth Ann and Dennis, Milwaukee;
Mr. and Mrs. Oscar DeMert and children, Robert, Karen and Eleanor,
Neillsville; Mr. and Mrs. Earl Zabler and Shirley Ann and Patricia,
Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. John Hemp and son, Ronald, La Crosse; Mr.
and Mrs. John Hemp, Jr., La Crosse; and Mr. and Mrs. Harold
O’Brien and sons, Jerry, Jean and Jack
Neillsville.
Two daughters, Beaulah and Minnie were unable to attend.
