Final rites were held December 22 for John
Johnson, long-time clerk of the Town of Levis, who died December 20
at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Fred Gosse of Abbotsford.
The Rev. Virgil Nulton officiated, with burial taking place in the
Dells Dam Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Andrew Kurasz, Edward Holub,
Fred Subke, Herbert Filitz, Elmer Filitz and Elmer
Buddenhagen.
Out of town people attending were: Mr. and Mrs. Robert Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Roland Johnson and children, all of Milwaukee; Fred Gosse and Leon Gosse Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Gosse, Sr., Mrs. John Johnson, Mrs. Darlene White, Merle and Donna Gosse, all of Abbotsford; Edward Kurtzwig, Fairchild; and Mrs. Tillie Lynch, Madison.
