Wojner, Henry R. (April 7, 1917 - October 21, 2009)
Henry R. Wojner, 92, Owen, of Owen, formerly of Stanley, died on Wednesday, October 21, 2009, at the Clark County Health Care Center in Owen, Wis.
He was born April 7, 1917, in Lublin to Joseph Wayne and Anna (Kozosnick) Wojner.
He was appointed as an elder in the local congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses and served until his death.
He worked at Gamble’s Store in Stanley for 30 years until the store was sold.
On October 18, 1852, he married Bertha Sheppelbaum.
They moved to Morgan Plaza, then to Oakbrook Health and Rehabilitation in Thorp, then to the Clark County Health Care Center in Owen.
He is survived by his wife, Bertha. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother; and three sisters.
A Memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 15 at 2:30 p.m.
at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Thorp with
Clint Boettcher presiding. The Cremation Society of Wisconsin in
Altoona, Wisconsin is assisting the
family.
