Shirley M.
Christophersen, 69, of Sturgeon Bay, formerly of Greenwood, died
Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009, at Dorchester Nursing Home, Sturgeon Bay.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009, at Our
Savior's Lutheran Church in Greenwood. The Rev. Terri Blomberg will
officiate and burial will follow in the Greenwood City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Cuddie Funeral Home,
Greenwood, Tuesday, Nov. 3, and from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday
at the church.

GREENWOOD --
Shirley M. Christophersen, 69, formerly of Greenwood, died
Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009, at The Dorchester Health and Rehab Center,
in Sturgeon Bay.
Funeral
services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Our Savior's Lutheran
Church in Greenwood. Burial will follow in the Greenwood City
Cemetery.
Visitation
will be held at Cuddie Funeral Home in Greenwood from 4 p.m. to 8
p.m. today, and at the church Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time
of the services.
Shirley Meta
Christophersen (Abel) was born Nov. 25, 1939, in Greenwood, to
dairy farmers Edward and Fern (Vine) Abel.
Following
her education, Shirley moved to Milwaukee, where she found
employment and was married to Reed Gardner Frame. Following her
husband's death, Shirley returned to Greenwood. She later met and
was married to Gordon J. Christophersen.
Shirley held
many jobs during the course of her lifetime.
She is
survived by her children, Wanda (Dennis) Stemen of Marshfield,
Sherri (Keith) Kaiman of Cedarburg, Deanna Frame of Sturgeon Bay,
Sue (Mike) Woehrle of Vadnais Heights, Minn., and Shane (Kim)
Christophersen of Plover; numerous grandchildren and
great-grandchildren; her siblings, Richard (Donna) Abel of Willard,
Laverne (Tim) Martens of Greenfield, Joanne (Don) Koivisto of
Chippewa Falls; her stepchildren, Pete (Ellen) Christophersen of
Clintonville, Betty (Ronald) Fuglsang of Ham Lake, Minn., Sue
(Jack) Volovsek of Wausau, Gordon Lee Christophersen of Tomah,
Wendy (William) Christophersen of Madison and Ardis (Darrel) Brown
of McFarland.
Sher was
preceded death by both of her husbands.
Cuddie Funeral Home of Greenwood is assisting the family with arrangements.
