GREENWOOD --
James Alan Herdrich, 48, of Greenwood, passed away Wednesday, Nov.
11, 2009, at the House of the Dove in Marshfield.
Funeral
services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 16, 2009, at St.
Mary's Catholic Church in Greenwood. The Rev. Joseph Follmar will
officiate, and burial will follow in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Marty Nigon, Dale Lindner, Jon Lindner, Mitch
Lindner, Frank Fabian and Mark Gregorich.
Visitation
will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009, at St.
Mary's Catholic Church in Greenwood with a 7 p.m. Prayer Service.
Visitation will also be held Monday at the church from 10 a.m.
until time of service.
James Alan
Herdrich was born March 12, 1961, in Neillsville to Wayne and
Elaine (Lindner) Herdrich. He received his education in Greenwood
and graduated from Greenwood High School in 1979. After completing
his education, Jim began farming in the town of Eaton, rural
Greenwood. He was united in marriage to Susan Noeldner on Nov. 8,
1986, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greenwood. After his
marriage, he continued to farm until his health would not allow
it.
In his spare
time, he loved to play cards, hunt and drive tractor. He was a
member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greenwood.
Jim is
survived by his wife, Susan Herdrich of Greenwood; four children,
Jennifer Herdrich, Jana Herdrich, Rachel Herdrich and Renee
Herdrich, all of Greenwood; his mother, Elaine Herdrich of
Greenwood, his father, Wayne (Marjorie) Herdrich of Tomah; five
siblings, Kenneth (Trudy) Herdrich of Greenwood, Janet (Tim) Wojcik
of Gilman, Jeanne (Peter) Opelt of Greenwood, Barbara (Edward)
Genett of Auburndale and Kathy (Douglas) Rondorf of Marengo, Ill.;
nieces, nephews and many friends.
He was
preceded in death by his grandparents.
Jim's family
requests that memorials be directed to either House of the Dove,
613 Western St., Marshfield WI 54449 or St. Mary's Catholic Church,
121 N. Main St., Greenwood WI 54437 in his memory.
Cuddie Funeral Home of Greenwood is assisting the family with arrangements.
