WITHEE --
Ronald E. "Bullet" Anderson, 59, of Withee died Monday, Nov. 23,
2009, at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.
Funeral
services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John's Lutheran Church
in Withee. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery.
Visitation
will be at the church Saturday from 11:30 a.m. until time of
service.
Ron's
complete obituary will run in the Thursday edition of the
News-Herald.
His funeral
services are being entrusted to the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home
of Owen.

WITHEE --
Ronald E. "Bullet" Anderson, 59, of Withee, died Monday, Nov. 23,
2009, at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield after being admitted
there Nov. 4, 2009.
His funeral
service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 28, 2009, at St. John's
Lutheran Church in Withee. The Rev. Thomas Myhre will officiate.
Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in the town of
Hixon.
Visitation
will be from 11:30 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the
church in Withee. Serving as pallbearers will be Marvin Mengel,
Dale Anderson, Larry Luzinski, Tony Phipps, Jim Luzinski and Rick
Witek.
Ron was born
Sept. 3, 1950, in Stanley, the son of Harvey and Velda (Arndt)
Anderson. He attended Hixon Heights Grade School and later
graduated from Owen-Withee High School. Ron married the former
Diane Arndt on Sept. 18, 1971. They later divorced. On Feb. 13,
1988, Ron married the former Colleen Anderson in Withee.
Ron began
working at the Longwood Cheese Factory and later at the Withee Feed
Mill. Most recently Ron was employed as a forklift operator for
Grassland Dairy in Greenwood until his health prevented him from
working.
Ronald was a
member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Withee, the Sportsman's
Club in Withee and the North Star Driving Club.
Ron's
passion was deer hunting and being in the outdoors. He loved going
to auctions and garage sales in the area. Ron loved having his
miniature horses and enjoyed riding his motorcycles and collecting
eagles.
He is
survived by his wife, Colleen, of Withee; his daughter, Debbie (Rod
Clark) Peterson of Owen; his parents, Harvey and Velda Anderson of
Withee; his step-children, Jim (Sue) Heck of Greenwood, Terry
(Anne) Heck of Elkhorn, Mike (Sue) Heck of Abbotsford and Lori
(Renee) Filla of Greenwood; and 15 grandchildren. Ron is further
survived by one sister, Janice (Allen) Arndt of Withee; one
brother, Billy (April) Anderson of Withee; as well as many other
nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Ron is
preceded in death by his granddaughter, Tapanga.
