Matt Marx has treated his house and saloon to a coat of paint.
Quite a number of our young people went to York Center Sunday evening to hear Rev. W. H. Clark, Grand Chief Templar of the I.O.G.T. lodge of Wisconsin.
Mrs. S. L. Marsh was at Marshfield the past week, where she received medical treatment.
Lewis Reichert was a visitor at the county seat last Monday.
Fred Reitz of Abbotsford, was a caller here Friday. He was looking over his political fences.
Fred Tompkins has returned from his trip to Stevens Point.
E. A. Beeckler organized a Mystic Workers lodge at Loyal last week.
Death has again visited in our midst, this time taking Emory Osgood, who died last Friday of Typhoid pneumonia at the age of about 16 years. The funeral was held Sunday from the Windfall church, Rev. W. H. Clark, who happened to be here, being called upon to officiate.
