Pleasant Ridge
Racie Howard and Evalyn Blackman visited friends at Augusta last week.
Lottie Blockman is spending a short vacation at home.
Mrs. Ida Gower came up form Alma Center Friday of last week. Mr. Gower came on Saturday, both returning home Monday.
Albert Duge went to Madison today, to attend the dairy school at that place.
Mrs. Cameron, accompanied by her sister Mrs. Suann, returned to her home in Iowa this week.
The young people met Saturday night, and under the direction of Mr. Toms, organized themselves into a musical and literary club with Musa West as President, Alfred Drescher, Treasurer, Alvin Eisentraut, Secretary, and Ida Drescher, organist. We are not fully informed as to the work they will take up this winter.
Mr. Toms delivered his farewell address to a large and appreciative audience Sunday. He was assisted in the service by his son Sheldon, who will continue his work here.
Mrs. Wm Gerhardt is not improving as fast as her many friends would wish.
Mrs. Kate Brown spent Sunday with her mother Mrs. Selves, but was hurriedly called home by the illness of her husband.
