Klopf, Edna P. (Aug 29, 1911)
Last Tuesday at Glendive, Montana, occurred the marriage of F. William Swanson and Miss Edna P. Klopf. The ceremony was performed in the M.E. Church by Rev. Leland, Mr. and Mrs. Wolff and Archie Hughes, Neillsville friends of the couple, being in attendance. The bride was attired in her mother’s wedding gown. At the conclusion of the ceremony the young couple left for a brief wedding tour and will then go to Yates, Montana, where they will make their home.
Mr. and Mrs. Swanson are both Neillsville young people who can be spoken of only in the highest terms of praise. The groom is a book-keeper and has an excellent position at Yates. He is a conscientious and studious young man and carries with him the respect and confidence of all his Neillsville friends. His bride is the daughter of W.G. Klopf and has grown to young womanhood here, graduated from the city schools and became a successful teacher. She has always been prominent in social affairs and her womanly characteristics and winsome disposition have drawn about her a large circle of very close friends. There is no reason to doubt that Mr. and Mrs. Swanson will meet with the entire happiness and content which their friends here wish them.
