Palmer, Carl Eugene (30 November 1883 - 17 July
1954)
Carl Eugene Palmer, 70, of Neillsville, Rt. 1,
died Saturday, July 17, at the home of his brother, Fred Palmer in
the Town of Levis.
Mr.
Palmer was born November 30, 1883, in Chicago to Eilert and Louise
(Knapo) Palmer. He received his education in the Chicago
schools and worked for the Standard Office Building Corporation for
Chicago for 22 years. He came to Clark County in 1941 and,
together with his mother, purchased a farm in the Town of Levis,
where they resided until the death of his mother in 1946. In
1947 he went to live with his brother, Fred (Ellen) Palmer, where
he has resided until his death. He had been in poor health
the past ten months.
The
body reposed at the Georgas Funeral Home from Sunday until Tuesday
noon, when it was transferred to Chicago for interment
Thursday. The Rev. F. W. Otterbein, Sr., will be the
officiating minister. Burial will be in the Mt. Olive
Cemetery in Chicago.
He
is survived by his brother, Fred, Neillsville.
Preceding him in death were his parents, three sisters and one brother.
