Mrs. Jennie (Push) Koschak passed away Tuesday,
September 28, 1954, at her home in Willard. She was born September
11, 1879, in Krka, Yugoslavia, where she grew to womanhood,
arriving in America in 1898. She located at Ely, Minn., where
she was married to Louis Koschak. In 1909 they moved to the
present Willard farm, where she lived until her
death.
Ten
children were born to this union, all of whom survive. They are
Louis Koschak, Jr., of Waukegan, Ill.; Mrs. Charles (Jennie) Kropf
of Greenwood; Ignatz Koschak of Greenwood; Mrs. Charles (Christine)
Belensky, of Waukegan; Mrs. John (Mary) Lesar of Willard; Mrs. Tony
(Angeline) Knotel of Waukegan; Frank of Willard; Stanley of
Washington, D. C.; Ludwig Koschak of U. S. N. now stationed in
Africa; and Mrs. Henry (Ann) Lamovec of Greenwood. She is
also survived by 33 grandchildren, one sister in Ely, Minn., and
one sister in Yugoslavia. Her husband preceded her in death
11 years ago. One brother and two sisters also preceded her
in death.
She
was a member of the Catholic Church and belonged to the Altar
Society; also the K. S. K. J. Society, members of which attended
the funeral in a body.
Funeral services were held Friday, October 1, in
the Holy Family Church with the Rev. Fr. Augustine Svete
officiating, assisted by Rev. Fr. Geno Korbic and Rev. Fr. John J.
Novak of Junction City. Burial was made in the Catholic
Cemetery at Willard.
Out of town relatives attending were as follows: Mr. and Mrs. Louis Koschak and son, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Koschak, Mr. and Mrs. Tony Knotel and children, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Belensky and children, all of Waukegan, Ill.; Stanley Koschak of Washington, D. C.; Mr. and Mrs. Ludwig Koschak and children of Africa and Massachusetts; Miss Barbara Koschak, Whitewater; Donald Lesar and Mrs. Ludwig Koschak and daughter of Milwaukee; Mrs. Mary Push and son, Stanley of Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Mike Korent, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Lobe, Henry Korent, Mrs. Tony Cerar, Mrs. Stanley Boldine and Mrs. Rose Maki, all of Ely, Minn.
